Thrustmaster Captain Pack Question

Recommended Posts

Hi There,

Having received the above product yesterday and on the instructions it says about downloading the TARGET software and Drivers software is this correct procedure before using the product? Or is it not necessary for P3D users?

I do have FSUIPC registered but haven't got any keys assigned due to not really understanding it, so currently just use T1600M with the twist for steering and no specific keys setup for throttles.

Many Thanks

Jason

Hi Jason,

No need for Target or FSUIPC.

You can just make axes and buttons assignments in P3D.

These will depend of course on the plane in use

and your personal preferences.

Best regards.

Hi

Thanks for your reply and assistance. I'll be setting it up to use with Aerosoft Airbus , FSLabs , QW and PMDG Aircraft hopefully. As long as I can make out how to do the setups for the planes.

Thanks

Jason

It sets up like any other USB device actually.

I would suggest not to use the TM Drivers nor the T.A.R.G.E.T Software.

Windows has everything on board to drive nearly all actual USB peripherie.

In my case, and i read from others too, the TM drivers caused trouble with their own hardware.

I fully agree with Ha_Ma.
No need to add any software if not needed.
It only adds complexity and therefore otential trouble.
