With the only option to fly on VATSIM is using AIG which frankly have an outdated cumbersome UI, unacceptable downloading time, and makes MSFS load very slowly, not even gonna mention how long it takes to start the apps themselves...

 

...the only other option is Simple Traffic Tool. Pretty sure it was not intended as such, and only as a 'simple traffic tool' to show some static models in airports, however, this has become the only viable option for matchmaking on VATSIM as it doesn't have its own library like IVAO

 

Is it abandoned? Will it get more models and airlines? Well, if it sells, it'll get updates right? Problem is, I haven't seen it being mentioned for vatsim except once or twice on forums and reddit, which actually should be its main usage instead of that clunky AIG Manager which takes hours upon hours to set up while watching youtube guides on how to do it correctly. 

 

Are we to expect any further updates? Do you plan on pushing this in the vatsim path as currently you're the best offer for it UX wise?

Well it does not need a lot of new life into it as it still is one of our best selling products!

 

But yes, there are updates planned. We keep an eye on the requests for sure. We do not push it for Vatsim directly however, if people use it for that so much the better! I know thousands of people do.
