ILS Glide slope is difficult to see

New to the plane.  I just did a night flight and the little blue GS indicator was very difficult to make out.  I ended up flying the approach pretty much completely with the FD.  I tried adjusting the PFD brightness and it helped a little but, not much.

Thanks.

You're in the wrong navigation mode. Those cyan "ghost needles" are simply the system saying "hey we've picked up that navaid you wanted, time to switch". You need to be in green needles prior to FAF. In your defense, VNAV-capable planes should automatically switch to green needles, but from what I can tell this isnt modeled, so you need to manually spin the source knob on the side control panel.

Thank you.  That helps.
