Autopilot Problem

Featured Replies

Hello everyone. I have the 32bit version. Everything works properly, but vertical speed doesn't. I can start the engines, set and align the ins etc. but before take off i can't set the trim (the trim indicator doesn't move), after take off i engage the autopilot, lateral part works properly but seemingly the vertical speed doesn't.

Also after ap engage, the ap doesn't follow my vertical instructions but i can set the trim manually and i can see the trim indicator moves.

Before i engage the autopilot, vertical speed wheel moves, but after i engage the autopilot, it doesn't follow the setting i made. As i remember autopilot controls the vertical speed by trim but after ap engage, even though the aircraft moves thousands of feets per minute in both up and down directions, trim indicator doesn't move at all... What can i do to fix? Will a .cfg file editing solve the problem?

By the way i know that the xmlltools is working and it's not the problem.

Hey ! Did you find the issue ? I just bought and experienced the same problem, P3dV4.4

Do you run V3.001 too ? I wonder if an older version could be working better...

Hey! I have some good news! For another reason i had to uninstall p3d, i also deleted every single folder of p3d too (in C and D drive both), then i installed it again. After that i installed dc-8. In my previous installations the installer was putting dc-8 folders to D:Prepar3D Addons, this time it installed to P3D main directory, and it worked! Now the aircraft follows the vertical speed commands too!

I made some more test flights today, first i have two dll.xml files in two different user/appdata folders in my computer, and i copied xmltools.dll text to the second dll.xml too. Now the loader works too, all lateral modes working and the vertical speed works too. The only problem is when i set cold&dark via loader, the external air doesn't come alive. So i have to connect the external air while engines are still running and make the aircraft cold&dark manually.
