GBL9AL 0
In addition to the above (Gate Numbers are wrong), there are some addidional holding points Stands 501 thru 503, 506, 507, 509, 511, 515, 517, 519-527, 544L, 544R, 545L, 545R, 546L, 456R, 547L, 547R, 548L and 548R are fitted with AGNIS/Stop arrow docking support. Stands 505, 508, 512, 513, 514, 516, 518, 531 thru 543, 544, 545, 546, 547, 548, 551-552, 567, 568 and 576 are equipped with Safedock. Stands 553 and 566 requires Marshalling. Stand 401's stand number board states stand 402. Is there anyway to pass onto the guy who does AES, that when being pushed back from Stands 401, 402, 403 and 463, aircraft require pushing back and then pulling abeam stand 461, before engines can be started. Cmakris 18
Yea a fix will be great regarding correct gate numbering at T5. I have just landed from LGAV on Vatsim and I was given gate 518. I found it becasue I had the charts with me. On the scenery 518 is 521 Chris
markonline1 0
Just to follow on from what a couple of fellas have said here, here is a list of the T5 stands both how they are in the scenery, and how they should be RW T5a scenery-actual 514 - 501 513 -502 512 -503 511 -505 529 - 506 528 - 507 527 - 508 526 - 509 525 - 511 524 -512 523 -513 523L -514 522R -515 522 -516 522L -517 521 -518 501 -519 502 -520 503 -521 504 -522 505 -523 506 -524 507 -525 508 -526 T5b scenery-actual 539 -531 538 -532 537 -533 536 -534 535 -535 534 -536 533 -537 532 -538 531 -539 541 -541 542 -542 543 -543 544 -544 545 -545 546 -546 547 -547 548 -
Shaun Fletcher 570
Hello Folks, It would be easy enough to change these in an afcad program.
GBL9AL 0
Hello Folks, It would be easy enough to change these in an afcad program. Yes it would be, but then the stand numbers on tarmac and on the Terminal would still be wrong, and for those us fly online, a change in AFCAD is useless, as there is no Defualt ATC, and you are down to using charts, and when the charts and scenery do not match, your kinda stuck! Having used T5 already, the scenery is extreaml;y well modeled, but just needs the stands/guidance systems and the taxiways/holding points updated, and its a perfect reprisentaion. There are the odd error around the 27R holding area also, as already pointed out, which I have confirmed with a airfiled operations worker at LHR. Rob_R 0
If anyone is brave enough to have a go at an updated afcad I am happy to help test it. Would a new afcad affect the AES functions ? Regards Rob
nickb84 0
Updating the AFCAD for T5 stand numbers would be easy enough (not sure about the other issues above) but as pointed out above still does not help when the gate numbers will still be wrong on the tarmac.
