The Twin Otter creates a sort of circle of low visibility when over the sea that is not in the weather, you can tell created by the aircraft as it moves with it, clear in the distance but right where the aircraft is over you get this sort of haze that moves with the aircraft.

 

You can clearly see it below the red line I have draw. Like I say this is not any weather as it follows the aircraft.

Thanks, sort of altitude dependent I think. This was noticed in the Caribbean around TNCM at about 2000ft

Correct. That's precisely where I saw it as well. Doesn't look like a Twin Otter problem.

I don't have it with other aircraft, and I am sure I have seen it in other places with the Twin Otter. I will check.

Pretty sure I had this with Cessna Longitude and TBM, not sure it is due to the planes but to low altitude and specific weather
