Glass upgrade?

Recommended Posts

Since a few years Garmin has had the G950 (retrofit version of G1000) available for the Twin Otter. The British Antarctic Survey's Twin Otters have for example been upgraded.

Here are a few links to look at if interested:

I would love to se an upgrade package to the Aerosoft Twin Otter with the MSFS stock G1000 / Working Title G1000 NXi on the dashboard. I don't know whether it's possible to add a 15 inch MFD, but it would be great if it is. However, a regular 10 inch MFD would work.

Is this something that Aerosoft might consider releasing later on?

Sorry, at this moment we are not planning any additional models. Perhaps later in the year. For now we only want to sort out the last issues, insert a new sound set and get the aircraft available on Xbox.

We're getting quite a bit later in the year, and the only IRL twin otters I'm used to are modern all-glass conversions, so having the option to fly that in MSFS (with some kind of in-model toggle to pick whether to fly with dials and the old garmins or glass) would still be highly appreciated. Heck, even if you sold it as a separate model I'd probably buy it.
