HSI issues and changes needed

No, this deflection issue is only in the Twin Otter.

For reference, CDI full deflection should only happen at 10 degrees when in nav mod, 5 nm when in GPS enroute, down to 0.3 nm in approach (for a WAAS GPS which this is), and typically 2.5 degrees in localizer mode.

The CDI slewing issue happens in a few other aircraft and is config-dependent so I know it can be changed as well.

We checked the VOR and LOC values and they are all correct with 0.5 degree deviation per point in LOC mode and 2 degrees per dot in VOR mode.

With GPS mode we'll have a close look over the weekend.

A comparison with the Embraer, similar aircraft, same GPS models. Pictures are right after take-off on RWY Heading at about 1000ft altitude. Huge difference. FYI, your CRJ indication is exactly the same as the Embraer.

I gave it a mild test and it looks like in GPS mode it's about +/- 60 degrees for full deflection while enroute. Yikes!

GPS does not follow degrees but cross track distance. We have changed the enroute setting now from 2NM per dot to 1NM per dot which is the normal enroute setting (checked from KI 525 and GNS 530 manual). With full deflection it means 5NM cross track error.

This will be included on the next update.

And what of terminal/approach phases? In approach in particular it is far too insensitive and should be, as stated before, as low as 0.3nm sensitivity

Also, will the auto-slewing be removed while this is happening?

Automatic turning of the HSI will be also fixed.

About terminal and approach phase sensitivity. It's implemented in the code with "GPS APPROACH MODE" simvar. However, I am not exactly sure how that variables activates and it's behavior beyond our control.
