pbearsailor 9
Simply cannot be that I flew these things in American Samoa TWENTY years ago. But I did. 711 was a 200 and a real dog with 50000 hours. 805 was a 300 and what a difference in power. Would love to see these two. Thanks, steve Please login to display this image. pbearsailor 9
I was a terrible Santa Claus but the ramp crew at Ofu was the very best. Please login to display this image.
steve dra 571
If some young whipper-snapper doesn't get to them 1st...I'll see what I can do when I get the paintkit. More pics of the specific one you want would be helpful....she changed liveries a few times from what I see. (I can only do one on the onset...so you'll need to pick one, hehe) Stripes, small flower on tail Red bottom, small flower Red bottom, big flower all red engine half red/white engine...etc And you gotta tell me the name/IACO of that airport in the 1st pic. I have to fly there and see if I can land the 747-8 there. LOL
pbearsailor 9
Thanks Steve. I’ll gather a few more. Ofu is KSAS in American Samoa. It was a tough little place when the north wind blew over the top of the island. cheers, steve
