Deputy Sheriffs Herman Posted December 27, 2021 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted December 27, 2021 Not typed in the CRJ, but it's common on turbojets for an interlock to keep reversers (all types) from deploying when the engine is shut down. If they were deployed and this was missed on startup, you'd likely have issues such as a hung or hot start.
Victory103
That is correct, FADEC has a say in T/R scheduling.
Mugz
But! If i set flaps to any position instead 0, then Thrust Reversers appear in EICAS!
CRJay
You should get green L/R REV ARMED messages in any case once you set the switches to ARMED. Nothing to do with FADEC or engine running or not. Something to add to the ever growing list .

I only get it if I pull the flaps. If you do not touch them, then there are no messages on EICAS
