Aerosoft Jonas S. 466 Posted December 12, 2021 Aerosoft Share Posted December 12, 2021 Hi, which P3D version do you use? What do you mean with something that does not exist?

P3D V5 and I just purchased and downloaded it that day, the new version. The add-on xml has an entry for a folder titled texture\global but I did not find such a folder in the scenery. And do you have a solution for why I fall through the runway flying to ENVA?
Deputy Sheriffs mopperle 4161 Posted December 13, 2021 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted December 13, 2021 Have you any other Orbx stuff installed? and did you use the specific installer for P3Dv5?
Deputy Sheriffs masterhawk 799 Posted December 14, 2021 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted December 14, 2021 I have <AddOn.Component> <Category>Texture</Category> <Path>Texture</Path> <Type>GLOBAL</Type> </AddOn.Component> and Global is not part of the path. It just defines the texture type. Do you have the file? ...\Prepar3D v5\Scenery\World\scenery\AFX_ENVA_ALT.bgl And also make sure you use the specific v5 installer and not the v4 one. stiarol 0
I think I've found the solution for this problem. After updating to 5.3 most of us did probably use the sync simulator and verify files in Orbx Central. This put another elevationfile for ENVA in to...Orbx\p3dv5\EU Norway\Scenery\World\scenery. Rename this to .off or move it out of the folder to fix elevation issues at ENVA. You can do this while in sim if you are in Scenery Library and untick and tick one item before pressing OK. The sim will then reload scenery and you will find yourself above ground again. Hope this helps for anyone having elevation issues at ENVA. Edit. If you have issues with GSX afterwards, see here: http://www.fsdreamteam.com/forum/index.php/topic,23946.msg166175.html#msg166175
Tom CoolEgg 1
Hi all, have the same issue - upon landing I fall through the runway. However: when I spawn my aircraft at the airport, everything seems to be fine - only when I leave the airport area and come back or when I come frome somewhere else (i.e. the airport needs to be reloaded) then the issue occurs. Turning off ADE_FTX_NOR_ENVA_elevation_adjustment.BGL in FTX Norway/scenery/world/scenery as suggested by stiarol does not solve the issue for me (file date is 15th Nov 2014, so is it really new?) After a few hours of trying I've run out of ideas for solving this issue. What I checked so far without any influence on the described effect: SODE installed and ok. Turning off other scenery entries. Turning off all other *ENVA*.bgl files in FTX Norway. Turning off/on "FTX Norway installed" in the scenery configuator. AFX_ENVA_ALT.bgl in P3dv5/scnery/world/scenery present and active. ENVA at top of scenery layers. ENVA re-installed with latest installer (p3d v5 version confirmed). Help would be appreciated... @masterhawk: my addon.xml looks similar to the one of chkl: <AddOn.Component> <Category>Texture</Category> <Path>Texture\Global</Path> <Type>GLOBAL</Type> however deleting the "\global" to make it a valid path doesn't solve the issue. Tom CoolEgg 1
Unfortunately the support team can't offer a solution proposal (except for a refund offer...). As I like this scenery very much - anybody with a similar problem or even a solution....?
