AS Honeycomb Configurator Buttons

Hi,

I encounter another problem.

After I finally was able to assign the buttons and I go into the sim, the buttons I programmed do not work.

When I select show bindings, nothing is displayed (of the toggle switches I programmed). Basically what I wanted to do was re-assign a function to a different button. So I downloaded the PMDG B737NGXu profile and looked at the nomenclature of the button, e.g:

Toggle button 3 top = PRK_BRAKE_OFF & Toggle Button 3 Bottom = PRK_BRAKE_ON; these functions I am trying to assign to button 7 top and bottom.

The toggles work if I use the downloaded PMDG B737NGXu profile, but do not work when I re-assign them to a different toggle!!

What am I missing??? The nomenclature is correct.

Thanks for help

Hi Juergen,

Are you sure the profile correctly loads in the simulator ?

You should see the name appearing when reloading the flight.

Thank you.

Where do I see he name of the profile in P3Dv5?

The strange issue is, that the buttons I did NOT re-program work! Doesn't that mean that a profile is loaded?

Thanks for help

So it appears that I have the same info available as you.

Hi again,

So I tried the following:

I modified toggle button 2 to: RIGHT_FD_ON (same as toggle button 7). I then checked that the description is the same as button 7, applied changes and reloaded the sim.

Please login to display this image.

I then reloaded All Bindings and checked button 2:

Please login to display this image.

The button 2 which I depressed shows RIGHT_FD_ON, but I don't understand why there is still the "MCP_AT_ARM_SWITCH" in brackets? Button 2 activates the AT arm switch in the sim.

I hope this gets us closer to solving my mystery.

Hi Juergen,

Someting I notice now :
Do you also have a yoke connected and profile loaded ?
(here a screenshot form one of you previous messages)
For the sake of tests, can you please make sure that only thr throttle is connected and

only the throttle profile is loaded ?

Please login to display this image.

Hi,

I disconnected the Yoke USB, so only the Throttle profile is loaded.

Please login to display this image.

I checked Toggle Button 2 - which I reprogrammed to "RIGHT_FD_ON - and it displays information in parenthesis which was the previous program state (MCP_AT_ARM_SWITCH). Also if I operate Button 2 it will activate the Auto Throttle switch in the aircraft.

Please login to display this image.

I checked Button 3 and the information is displayed correct PRK_BRAKE_OFF and in parenthesis ....CONTROL_STAND_PARK_BRAKE_LEVER:

Please login to display this image.

Thanks for continued help

Hi Juergen,

There must be something wrong as I loaded your profile and get this assignment for toggle button #2.
Can you check what profile is really loaded in P3D ?
To make sure, you can rename your profile and reload it.

Please login to display this image.

Hi,

I still have the same problem:

I make a change to the toggle switch, press Enter and Save the Changes. I copied a made a new profile from the downloaded PMDG_NGX(u)_Throttle profile and activated it (Name: PMDG_NGX(u)_Throttle_2).

I load the simulator and "BFC_Throttle-Reload Bindings" and I get: Relaoded 65 bindings successfully from GLOBAL profile: 'PMDG_NGX(u)_Throttle_2'. If I then check a binding I still get the modified binding and in brackets the deleted bindings (see screenshot of my previous post).

Can you edit the toggle switches of my profile and load them into the sim?

What else can I do here to make this work?

Thanks

Hi,

I also uninstalled version 2.0.00 and installed version 2.1.00. Still the same issue: any modified toggle switch shows the modified binding and in parenthesis shows the previous binding, therefore does not operate in the sim.

Thanks for help
