TomAce 78 Posted December 6, 2021 Share Posted December 6, 2021 Hi CRJ 900: In VNAV mode + NAV descending to 3000ft. ILS freq is set and I get blue needles and loc. When I press APPR my plane stops following the magenta line and never turns to green needles and GS. What am I doing wrong? I have to manually turn off VNAV and turn on HDG mode to magenta line. Then switch to APPR and to green needles manually. This worked fine before I started using VNAV when descending. I always used VS before the 900/1000 was released. I saw that post, but I was not sure if it was related to the same issue. I’m new to VNAV and thought I did something wrong.
