Schnee als neuer Wettereffekt

XP12 Winter bedeutet nicht weiße Landschaften,

sondern Schnee ist ein reiner Wettereffekt und kann demnach auch im Sommer auftreten, z.B. oberhalb der Schneegrenze.

Und Schnee kann sich anhäufen.

DIe Frage, wie sich das mit Ortho Files (Tapeten) veträgt, wurde meiner Meinung nach positiv beantwortet 🙂

Snow by default goes everywhere, except where the control masks mark it (or the angle is too steep).

Ja, die 12.0 Version wird noch nicht alles, was für die 12 Version angedacht ist, enthalten.
Aber die Perspektive stimmt.
Bis vor kurzem war ich noch der Meinung, dass Schneeniederschlag als zeitliches Ereignis (also nicht nur weiß eingefärbte Oberfläche) mit Tapeten unmöglich sei.

 

Was ich noch nicht wirklich verstehe ist:

Die Schneebedeckung ist das Ergebnis des Vorganges "es schneit". Wenn es länger schneit, wird mehr Schnee liegen.

Aber wie ist das, wenn ich den Sim im Winter bei Sonnenschein starte?

Es schneit nicht, liegt dann auch kein Schnee?
