EFB: List of useful links for built-in browser

Hi!

I like a lot the possibility to include websites of interest into the EFB. Unfortunately, as you know, many websites are blocked by server response errors due to the limited possibilities of the websim browser. However, there are interesting websites which are correctly displayed and can be of help. So I was wondering if there is a community list of such links already existing?

I could not find one so far, so here are my 50 cents:

http://perfcalc.pradz.de/index.php

A320 Performance Calculator (limitation: a part of the page not visible)

https://vau.aero/fsmap/?osm

VATSIM map (limitation: map not movable with mouse on EFB. Maybe somebody finds a solution or better alternative?)

https://www.autodraw.com/

Light-weight online sketchpad

The latter is my favorite: Using Oculus Rift for VR flights, it was always annoying not to be able to take some notes e.g. of frequencies from VATSIM ATC controllers. With the sketch pad, it is now possible to take notes without taking off the VR headset.  🙂

Maybe you have other useful links you want to share?

Does it work on the CRJ EFB? I was not aware of that function…

No, only the buses and the capabilities of this built-in browser are very, very limited.

To add to this thread: Here's another application which I found in the meanwhile. I use a self-generated HTML page to organize airport data like frequencies and chart PDFs which are accessible from online communities. It's a bit different because it needs to be added to the DOCS tab instead of the LINKS tab of the EFB because from the LINKS tab, clicking on a link to a PDF file does not open the PDF viewer. This works from the DOCS tab. However, as a vertical scrollbar is not shown there, I needed to add little "Up" and "Down" scroll buttons and "Top" links instead. But with this, my own collection of relevant charts is easily accessible inside of the virtual cockpit which is particularly important when flying in VR.
