Simbrief import not working

Recommended Posts

I just installed the new 550/700 update (I do NOT have the 900/1000 expansion) and tried to do an import, and it did not work.  So I did a little digging and found out the flp file is supposed to go into the onestore/aerosoft-crj/work directory.

Except I didn't have such a directory.

So, I made one.  Downloaded the flp from simbrief into it, and tried to import it into the MCDU.  But all I got was "LOAD ERROR" in yellow.

I literally installed the update less than an hour before this happened.  Anybody have any help for this?

I import all my flightplans into C:\Users\YOUR NAME\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\packages\aerosoft-crj\work

I have the Aerosoft One version.

I have tried importing Simbrief plans but simbrief downloader doesn't seem to work CRJ 900-1000.  Does anyone have a download path for these new planes that works in Simbrief downloader?

the downloader knew I had 3 installs of the crj... offered up 3 directory paths but I had to change the last path by clicking on the folder icon and going up a level and then into the other crj 900-1000 work directory

exported my flp and then went into the 900 and it works like a charm.

I just checked it and the route loads fine.

So again the route for the 550/700 needs to be stored in this directory:

C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\packages\aerosoft-crj\work

for the 900/1000:

C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\packages\aerosoft-crj-900-1000\work

The filename under which you have stored it must have a 8 character filename. Example: a flight plan from Munich to Dusseldorf can be named like EDDMEDDL.flp or MUCDUS01.flp

So if you use the IATA code you have to add a 2-digit number. zo get a 8 character filename.

If the flightplan still does not load, something else is not correct. in this case, please attach your flightplan.

I checked 2 of your flightplans (EBBRESMS and EKVGENVA) and both are loading fine. Thats what I get for EBBRESMS:

Are you sure that you put the flightplans in the correct Work folder?

Yes, definitely, I copied them from that folder.

I tried again, and now I get "Route loaded", but the waypoints are empty and the route name is not filled in under "Route".

Hello!

I have the same problem and cannot load a flightplan from simbrief.

For example: LFLSEDDF in ROUTE in the FMC said "ROUTE LOADED", but by pressing EXEC nothing happens.

I tried it with PILOT ROUTE LIST. It does not work.

Today I have installed the last version of CRJ 1.015.0 again bei ONE. But there is no result.

What can I do?

Best regards

Jürgen

double checking ... you are loading it via the the Secondary Flight plan page and not the Primary correct?
