CRS knob not responding in x-plane 11.55

Recommended Posts

I’m using X-plane 11.55. I noticed that CRS increase/decrease is not working. I can change the setting via RemoteFlight Control HD app and it works that way but it’s quite annoying that all other setting like IAS,HDG,VS,ALT are responding while CRS not. Please let me know how to fix this issue.

Dear Nicenetcom,

Can you check if the know is detected in the Windows Joystick utility ?
It should trigger inputs #13 (CW) and #14 (CCW)

Thank you.

After joy.cpl i confirm that buttons are 13 and 14 are responding. The same in x-plane configuration panel, CRS flashes as I move it. But when it comes to flying b737-400 in game , I'm not able to manipulate CRS, so it's very hard to fly ILS or set holding courses as i practice. On the other hand, when I'm using c172 and i put the VOR mode, the CRS is working and I'm able to manipulate it.

Dear Nicenetcom,

This may be due to the fact the 737you fly doesn't use the standard Xplane interface functions.

What 737 is it ? What addon ?

Thank you.

So the last question, how to configure it in a way that I would be able to assign left knob CRS to the OBS HSI and increase/decrease via the right know from the autopilot panel ?

Hi,

Need to find the correct Dataref or event for the left selector.

You are using the Honeycomb Configurator, right ?

Dear Sir,

Please use :

- sim/radios/obs1_up

- sim/radios/obs1_down
in the Configurator.
Please see the picture below. (do the same with "_down" for the DECREASE button.

Best regards.
