CRJ 500/700 Unable to start Engine #1

After going thru checklist and prepared flight plan, I started engine 2 with no issues. But when starting engine 1, N2 doesn't go past 25 then a message pops on EICAS saying: Left Main ejector and Left Scav Ejector.

I have done all possible things but no luck.

Anybody has any idea what could it be or how to resolve this issue please?

2 things have been seen to cause this -- Alpha Yoke Magneto or Saitek Switch panel Magneto settings that cause an issue.  The other is Mixture being assigned to a controller....

When in doubt quick check is to go into the controller settings .. make a new profile for the controller and leave everything blank..  Do this for each controller you have...

Now Reload into the CRJ and use the virtual cockpit to do the engine start... does it work?  Go back through your controllers and make new assignments -- or "duplicate" the original control profile and then go through it assignment by assignment and remove things that are not applicable to a JET .... like mags, Mixtures, Prop Levers etc...
