engine sound goes extremely loud outside plane after upgrading to Windows11

Recommended Posts

after upgrading to windows11, everything goes well except the engine sound ouside the plane. It is really noisy, I need to lower the engine sound setting in MSFS2020 to 50% making to  back a acceptable range.

I don't know if this is a bug related to CRJ or MSFS, I try one other GA Plane, it  just goes well. (maybe I never fly them before, normally I fly CRJ700 only)

CRJ version 1.0.0.6

Ok, this is how things get crazy.  Apparently everything was working good for you and THEN you upgraded to Windows 11 and somehow post upgrade behavior is either a BUG in the CRJ or MSFS?  This conclusion is reached before things like audio drivers are checked?  That is a big and also very illogical leap.  Maybe verify that drivers are current and Windows 11 compatible before assuming that there is a latent bug in MSFS or the CRJ that was just waiting for Windows 11 to come forward.  I upgraded to windows 11 and before I did anything else I upgraded video and audio drivers and have not had any issue such as this.

Tested, and unable to recreate this. Can anybody else?

I have been using Windows 11 and do not experience this. Doesn't make a whole lot of logical sense, in my opinion. OP should verify they are using the lastest motherboard drivers for their onboard sound etc.
