Honeycomb Bravo Throttle airbus lever pack - Reversers for four engines

Unlike the Boeing thrust levers shipped with the original HCB the airbus add-on we bought separately only feature two reversers. Although Airbus only has the A340  using four reversers in some models, I wonder if there would be any chance for a retrofit, now that we are seeing additional A340 for the sim's. Also other 4 engined aircraft could benefit from such a mod if a user would prefer these over the Boing thrust levers.

Hi Dornier728,

There is actually little chance.
Honeycomb decided to only have two reversers for the following reasons : 

- Keep the price as low as possible.
- The A340 is the only Airbus with 4 reversers 
   (The A380 only has 2 on the inboard engines)
- The A340 isn't produced anymore since 2011.

 

This may not please everyone, but this is the reason why it is very unlikely that a 4 reversers set will ever be availble.

However, it is always possible to assign two reversers to one lever in the simulator.
Controlling the reversers is therefore always possible.
