jafo_326 0
Greetings !! For some reason today the Gross Weight field on the lower ECAM display now displays the Gross Weight at engine start up as oppose to display when I insert values on INIT B as it was doing yesterday as it supposed to be. Im running A320 Professional v 1.4.3.0 Thank you for your time Jahil Santos
Aerosoft Jonas S. 466 Posted October 2, 2021 Aerosoft Share Posted October 2, 2021 Hi Jahil, can you further elaborate on your issue and maybe attach a screenshot?
Deputy Sheriffs masterhawk 799 Posted October 3, 2021 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted October 3, 2021 That’s the FCOM logic: The screen displays the Gross Weight (GW) in green, as soon as the flight crew starts the first engine. The last two digits are dashed, if accuracy is degraded. On ground, blue dashes are displayed instead of the indication, if no computed data is available. In one of the last updates we worked on that item. Maybe you haven’t recognized the change until now.
jafo_326 0
Bob thanks for the explanation, so even after ZFW and CG are computed on INIT B page and having that information displayed on the FUEL PRED page it will still give me blue dashes on the ground until engine start? Thank you for your time
Deputy Sheriffs masterhawk 799 Posted October 4, 2021 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted October 4, 2021 Yes, it is displayed as soon as first engine is started.

Deputy Sheriffs masterhawk 799 Posted October 4, 2021 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted October 4, 2021 Just a background info. The GW is calculated by the FCMC (Fuel Control and Monitoring Computer). It’s using the ZFW of the FMS and other sensors (not the the Block Fuel value from the FMS) to calculate the GW. And FUEL PRED page…is an other bug. It shouldn’t be populated with values until engine start.
