Mega Airport Frankfurt V2.0 professional is missing a connection

Hi, I bought the airport in question for P3Dv5 and, as you can see from the following images, there is no connection between taxiway M and runway 7C, to be exact the connection M34.

I specify that I have already updated to version 2.0.2.0.

In addition, the 7L and 25R are missing from the list of runways.

Is there a further update for this airport?

Thanks.

Hi,

according to sat imagery the Taxiway "M34" was finished in early 2020. The reason why you can't select 07L or 25R is, that this runway mustn't be used for takeoffs, only landings are allowed. At the very moment I don't know about any plans for an update.

Let me add one item. An addon is onyl current at the moment of release. A dev can't track all changes in real world and offer updates, especially if the dev has different addons. Bugfixing is an other topic.
Please keep also in mind, that Aerosoft is only the publisher and not the developer of addons. So all depends on the developer, if he is able to provide feature updates.

Thank you for your kind answers but they are not convincing.

Jonas writes that «the Taxiway" M34 "was finished in early 2020». Ok I bought the product, a couple of days ago, almost a year has passed. I bought the product at a not-so-cheap price and pretended it was accurate. I'm not a specialist but playing with ADE I know it doesn't take long to add a simple connection?

And after a year - as @masterhawk claims - the developer didn't find the time to do it?

It's not just ADE. Insert new satimage, modfying the groundpoly with all the differnet layers... a hell of work.
And yes, even after a year it's normal to have not updated such items. When there will be a new rendition of the aiport it will be included. But now the dev is workingon other things.

And Guiseppe, especially in such big airports there constant changes all over the year and a dev needs to stop adding features at a certain point of time, otherwise the project will never be finished. And he can not constantly add all changes done during the year adding the following year. Even sometimes changes are only temporary. So what to do with them?.

When looking at my home airport (EDDM), there are major changes going on and you will find no scenery being up to date. Thats the reason why devs are always behinh and it might take several years till a scenery gets a complete overhaul.

Simply put, all our products are sold 'as is', without promises of any updates to match changes on the real airports. The reason for this is extremely simple, if our devs would keep all products up to date, they (and we) would spend all our time updating and not selling new products. That would work fine for a few months, after that we would be bankrupt.

This is the same for any add-on ever done btw. You will never find any promise the products would be kept up to date to match real worls.

What you say makes sense, I admit.
Now, however, put yourself in my place: I bought the scenery of the airport a couple of days ago (beautiful, really congratulations), I take a taxiway convinced that I will find that connection but it is not there.

I understand that developers can't go crazy with the daily updates found in all airports, but once every six months a new "snapshot" of airport conditions doesn't seem like an impossible thing to me.

Think about it.

You might try asking over here.

Again every 6 Months a new snapshot, requires several weeks of work. Keep in mind, most devs aren’t working fulltime but in their sparerime.

And with several addons to monitor you would end up with the same like Mathijs explained.

Hey guys, I don't want to argue with you at all, but certain phrases leave me amazed.

If it is true that boys "work" in their free time, it is also true that I earn my money by working like them. Even if a biannual update of the airports requires weeks of work, it seems to me the least towards those who have bought them.

I don't like this rule that airports sell as they are without an update guarantee (I write it as a paying customer), even if I notice that often - instead - there are updates (good). I just spent almost € 70 for 5 MSFS (Aerosoft) airports taking advantage of the "30 years Aerosoft" promotion, so I'm not a troll who enjoys writing controversial posts but, on the contrary, I appreciate the work of Aerosoft and its developers.

I keep insisting that a biannual update of the airports sold would not be a bad idea.

Cheers

Perhaps. But as these never add additional sales they can only be done via a paid update. And I think a subscription model (that is the only way it would make any sense) would simply not be acceptable for the vast majority of customers. Keep in mind it is not just the adapting of the files, it also includes adaptation of the manuals, installers, product pages, marketing, shop adaptation (in 6 languages) sales and distribution costs.

Simply said, while it is not a bad idea it simply will not happen. Most certainly not for P3D as that platform is commercially in dire straights.
