How do I get rid of the green line in the ND of the A320/21? After inserting a flightplan the autopilot does not follow the route but it follows the green line! This happens with the A320/21 only.

The green line is the route. But as we dont know what you have entered as flightplan....

What mode read on your FMA ( PFD upper part ).?

 

Apparently you are in HDG or TRK mode. This line appears in green only in the ROSE NAV or ARC mode when HDG or TRK is selected on the FCU. Of course as mopperle says in NAV mode green line is your route.

Best is to show us a screenhsot of the FCU and the PFD and ND (all in full resolution) so that we can see you settings

Most likely it’s this strange bug, with hdg line in nav mode, that sometimes appear. You have to do a DIR TO after takeoff, then the system is back in normal.

We have been able to see this bug sometimes, but hadn’t been able to recreate the circumstances/track it down.

 

Edit: Are we talking about 32bit or 64Bit version.
