Dave Gray 12
Since the FMS on a MD-80 is pretty similar to a 737. Does anybody know if it's possible to use this product with the leonardo md80? I'm considering purchasing. But for the price I'd like to be able to use with the md80 also. thanks.
Aerosoft SimWare 728 Posted September 3, 2021 Aerosoft Share Posted September 3, 2021 Dear Dave, This cannot be guranteed as altough the real life instruments may look similar, the way these are implemented in a simulator varies from plane to plane or editor to editor. Eventough there are common keys between an MD80 or a B737, the offsets or L-Vars used to interface them to hardware are not always the same. The current compatible addons are : FSX: PMDG 737NG PMDG 747 PMDG 777 Prepar3D V1-V5: PMDG 737NGX PMDG 737NGXu PMDG 747 PMDG 777 X-Plane 11 : ZIBO 737-800 IXEG 737-300 Best regards. Dave Gray 12
Let me know if you need me to ask Leonardo anything regarding their md-80. I think it would help you guys sell more of these CDU's if it could work in the md80 also

crashdog 1
I second this question. I'm interested in using this in my MD80 home cockpit which is running on Leonardo's Maddog. So would also need captain/co-pilot config. Cheers, Gerhard
Dave Gray 12
I see that the guys over at SpadNext have started working with this. So hopefully they can figure it out. If I sold something like this I would want compatibility as wide as possible. But that's just as me.
