<SOLVED> DC8 external air problem (FSX-SE)

Featured Replies

Hi guys

I'm trying to learn this aircraft going through the checklist

all others are just fine, but It's just that I can't really get the external air for the manifold pressure to start the engines.

I read the checklist and I know I need to press the short key for Tail hook so I did yet it just never seems to work :(

also tried to re-assign the key for the tail hook but it didnt work at all'

can you guys give me a little tip? would very much appreciate it

thx

When I hit the fsx keypress set for the tailhook, the green light for the external air in the shift+5 panel is turned on, which shows that the keypress itself works in the fsx. but there's no such sound of external air being fed nor any sign of manifold pressure needle changing..
