Tomcatsclaw 0 Posted August 11, 2021 Share Posted August 11, 2021 Hi folks, I recently purchased Faro X from an online vendor. After installing it on my FSX dedicated SSD, I noticed that the airport terminals were missing and the texture of several items (fuel storage tanks, crane, a.i. fuel truck, aircraft, runway and taxiway edge lights) are missing (just plain black). I uninstalled, reinstalled, moved the airport file up and down the priority list in FSX but the scenery will not install properly. Is anyone able to give some advice? Deputy Sheriffs mopperle 4162 Posted August 11, 2021 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted August 11, 2021 As I do not use FSX since many many years now, only a few suggestions: - installed with administrative rights? - any other conflicting scenery? - using Orbx add-ons, in OC insertion point needs to be set below the lowest 3rd party add-on In your screen shot with all the files, switch to details and post it again. Dedicated SSD with FSX has been exempted by Kaspersky Anti-virus No Orbx add-ons installed (1 scenery caused problems resulting in complete reinstallation of FSX and all its add-on software)! No other LPFR afcad found so far, LPFR BGL files from MyTraffic 2013 removed from FSX directory and stored in back-up folder. What do you mean with OC insertion point? Are you referring to the Faro Texture Folder (details)? Attached you will find the results of a search of the FSX directory on the SSD. Tropicalsim Sta Maria (LPAZ) does have some files with LFPR but these do not seem to affect the problem with the Faro X scenery. I deactived TS LPAZ and ran FSX no change. Reactivated TS LPAZ and changed its priority to above and below AS Faro, problem still there. Please login to display this image. Please login to display this image. Exactly But all the LPFR scenery files you found in your search (except Navdata etc.) look very strange to me, espcially in folder like ....\Name. They made be indeed the problem.
