EFB websimbrowser not found

Hi everyone, my first post here!

I bought the AS A330 a week or so ago, and I'm running into a few problems.

Running P3D V4.5

1. The EFB has a black screen and has 'websimbrowser' not found, I know this has been bought up before, but non of the solutions have worked. I have:

Uninstalled, and installed again and have turned off my AV when prompted to do so. There is also no folder named 'websimbrowser' anywhere on my system.

-Attempted to install it in different locations (C or D drives).

2. The takeoff V speeds or FLEX/THS do not change when I change the weights in the middle MCDU, it's always 4.0 UP (26% MAC), and the V speeds lead to almost tail striking. (config2)

Also, is there a Perf calculator in the EFB? And how does the PERF page, know the V-speeds, when it has no idea of the weights which haven't been inserted into Page 2 of the INIT?
Any solutions to these problems?

Thanks!

The websimbrowser will be packed in the sim main directory.

MCDU weight is always distributed to obtain optimal THS setting.

If you want it it more variable, use the fuelplaner.

You should always first load the weights, then enter it in INIT B and then do the PERF tasks.

If there is no folder "WebSimBrowser" in your P3D directory, then something went wrong with your installation for some reason. Usually a reinstall solves this. If not, then something really strange is going on on your system.

There is definitely something wrong with your P3Dv4 installation

- Client version is lower then Content/Scenery, this should not be

- Registry somehow broken points to P3Dv3 and P3Dv4

- P3Dv4 in general outdated you mist several updates and you must have installed latest Hotfix 3, so you should end up with a (at least client) version 4.5.14.34698

- you should in general not install into the "program files" folder

To me it looks like that you made some mistakes during one of your P3D updates. Safest solution in such a case is a fresh install of P3Dv4.5.

This might be because I got a new moboard and CPU/GPU for my system, leaving all the P3D files on my old HDD, which is still connected. I installed P3D again onto my SSD.

Weird solution, it seemed to solve itself.

I bought the A320/A321 and installed them, and for whatever reason, the EFB works now!!

Not sure why, maybe the A330 package doesn't install websimbrowser properly?

Can we get a realistic performance calculator on the EFB please? :D I use TOPCAT atm, but it would be awesome to transfer that data for the A320/30 over to the sims EFB.

It just gives an edge on the realism you know? The MCDU doing it for you doesn't feel right.
