Where is the configurator?

Recommended Posts

I'm pulling my hair out because I've seen dozens of posts and videos about a configurator, but damned if I can find it anywhere.

The most "official" looking link took me to the standard AS_HONEYCOMB_MSFS file that allows zero configuration.

I'm looking specifically for the tool featured in these pages/video:

https://www.aerosoft.com/en/hardware/news/honeycomb-config-tool-update-2.1.0

The link in the video takes you to (errrgh, it's a youtube embedded tracking/following link):

https://www.youtube.com/redirect?event=video_description&redir_token=QUFFLUhqa1hLdWNSeUJsczhKLU4zamZIbmpjU2FUaXNQd3xBQ3Jtc0treEpiR2prQ2dDcG9Qd0U0NnlwT1ZwNDE0Mm1vQTlpS0txRS03eXF2V1BUcFVCSHhHMnZtaHdMZVc4V1JMUGVpZHBxMUduVEJMT1Y1eEpFWlF6bHdsVkhlYlpJdmc3X2FVVzB5VzBoRko5ZXJrb1F0aw&q=https%3A%2F%2Fforum.aerosoft.com%2Findex.php%3F%2Ffiles%2Fcategory%2F126-honeycomb-profiles%2F

which only takes me to:

https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?%2Ffiles%2Fcategory%2F126-honeycomb-profiles%2F

where there is no tool located. The MSFS specific entry only has the aforementioned AS_HONEYCOMB_MSFS "lights" tool.

I can see everyone else seems to be finding it since they have it installed, unless it's no longer supported?

Anyway, I was kind of hoping there was a simple way of configuring the quadrant, I can keep persevering with the abhorrent MSFS profile configuration, but that's so painful.

Hi madivad, thx for your info, but im so sorry,i don't quite get your meaning.the cockpit master cdu or our upcoming products(MCP MCDU FCU ETC....)In either case we always adhere to use plug and play to link pc,and without the user needing to learn or use tradition configurator.

I think you are in the wrong channel. You should be looking for Customer Support – Honeycomb Aeronautical (flyhoneycomb.com)

Hi Madivad,

Not really sure what you are looking for.

- This thread is about CockpitMaster.
This is the standalone CDU :
   https://www.aerosoft.com/en/hardware/flight-simulation/instruments/3444/cockpit-master-cs-737x-cdu?number=AS15380
The configurator for this product is available here :
   https://cockpit-master.com/index.php?id=download-center&cate=ruanjianxiazai

- However the video above refers to totally different product, the Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant
  https://www.aerosoft.com/en/hardware/flight-simulation/throttles/2568/honeycomb-bravo-throttle-quadrant?number=AS14515
The configurators for this product are available on the product page accessible via the link above.
The configurator version depends on the simulator you use.

Best regards.

Not looking for the cockpit master, I'm looking for specifically the software that's in the YouTube link above.

It's not on any page I can find

The Honeycomb configurator is available from the Aerosoft website product page mentionned above.
