Aerosoft SimWare 729 Posted July 13, 2021 Aerosoft Share Posted July 13, 2021 How to configure the Logitech Throttle Quadrant with the Aerosoft CRJ This tutorial is valid for both the standalone quadrant (with a USB plug) and the quadrant part of the yoke/throttle set. Please login to display this image. NOTICE : Altough there is a contact triggered when the lever is set into reverse, it is advised not to use it and instead set the reverse function from within the CRJ EFB. It will allow for progressive reverser control, while the contact only allows for ON/OFF. STEP 1 : Calibrate the quadrant. Calibrate it on all the course, including the reverse portion. Please login to display this image. As the lever triggers a contact when entering the reverse portion, you need to keep any button pressed during the calibration process to avoid the calibration utility to jump to the next axis. Please login to display this image. For the standalone version, the levers are on axis X and Y. Do not forget to leave them centered when required ! STEP 2: Assign the axis to the “THROTTLE AXIS” function in MSFS. No need to check the “Reverse axis” box NOTICE : In some cases, it has been reported that the THROTTLE AXIS isn't recognized. In this case ONLY, try using THROTTLE 1 AXIS IMPORTANT : Double check that no other axis or even axis from other devices isn’t assigned to any throttle function ! Please login to display this image. STEP 3 : Make sure the sensitivity of the throttle axis is linear and reactivity set to 100%. Please login to display this image. STEP 4 : In the CRJ, start the EFB. Check “Single Axis” and « Throttle hardware has a reverser axis » Perform the axis calibration as required, then press “OK” Please login to display this image. You are all set !
