Kabir 0
Hey guys! Fairly new to the Prepar3D side of the flight community and I've got a PC with these specs coming soon: Intel Core i5-10300 NVIDIA GeForce 1650Ti 8GB DDR4 RAM 1TB M.2 SSD Just wanna know, will I get away with 8GB RAM and 4GB VRAM for the Aerosoft A330 on Prepar3D v5 with the A330 Professional, and if I do, how much FPS would you predict? Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted June 23, 2021 Aerosoft Share Posted June 23, 2021 Framerate will fully depend on your settings (expect 5 ot 50 fps). But it will fully depend on the settings. I would not worry too much.
Aerosoft BenBaron 286 Posted June 24, 2021 Aerosoft Share Posted June 24, 2021 Hi, just to weigh in on this: while nominally with your system you might fulfill the minimum requirements to at least start P3Dv5, I feel especially the 4GB VRAM won't do you any good at all. Transitioning from v4 to v5 P3D got WAY more VRAM expensive which caused me to abandon my good old 4GB graphics adapter for a 8GB one as I had crashes related to it. Of course, like Mathijs mentioned, many things depend on settings like chosen resolution and such but I would go for at least 16GB of RAM and 8GB of VRAM. Just my two cents, though.
