tribejagd 31
Hi Folks, Today I got the Multi Panel and tryed to fly the new CRJ700. Will Aerosoft work on updates that you can use the MultiPanel with the CRJ? - Autopilot VS Increasing and decreasing works fine - Autopilot Knob for ALT isnt working at Multi Panel. It holds the ALT setting which is set through the Autopilot in CRJ. When In- Decreasing at CRJ, the Display at MultiPanel works fine. But setting ALT with the Knob on MultiPanel isn't working - For IAS there is a difference of 40 cause CRJ starts to increase with start of 40 and MultiPanel with 0. Here the Knob on Multi Panel is working fine. - Flaps working fine and TRIM tooo... For HDG there is a difference of 1 degree... But here the Knob at MultiPanel is working fine too... Regards Markus Search for the many many threads about this... But the summary is this: Complex aircraft have to use LVARs and HEvents to make the Autopilot work. The only way to make this work is to buy software for Binding controllers and events that allow you access to the LVARs. The FBW A320 has already moved in this direction as well... The DEV version has implemented all separate L:VARs to be able to simulate the proper AP system. Then under the hood they drive the sim Autopilot in a basic Way.. The WT CJ4 with v12.5 is moved to L:VARs for the Modes and H:Event for pressing the buttons... So again you will need 3rd party software for it as well... Saitek does not offer any support for this with their basic software integration. Thus company's have come along over the years to fill in this void. Spad.neXt , AAO, FSUIPC and others.... There is an entire market for people to make the panels better...
Aerosoft SimWare 729 Posted June 21, 2021 Aerosoft Share Posted June 21, 2021 Hi Tribejagd, As Les said, non MSFS addons use L-Vars, internal non standard variables to implement complex systems such as autopilot. Some hardware suppliers have developped L-vars access in their drivers and software, some haven't. Logitech is definitely default aircraft-oriented and haven't provided extended drivers. Spad.Next is indeed a good solution. Please browse this forum for Spad.Next examples. Here a Youtube tutorial from Les over Spad.Next and CRJ :
