Francisco Javier Garcia Navarro 0
Hello: How can I tell to pilots contact to ACC when arrives at exit waypoints? Do I must to assume that is an automated process on DataLink systems?. That occurs in real life, or departure strips must contain "call ACC" button or so? Thanks in advance Javier SPAIN

Francisco Javier Garcia Navarro 0
Researching some documents and vídeos about DataLink systems like ACARS, FANS and CPDLC, the communications protocol includes text commands to contact with previous and later controllers. From Tower to Ground is: "[CALLSIGN] contact ground on [FREQ]" displayed in FMS. At exit points the digital command is: "[CALLSIGN] contact Center on [FREQ]" displayed in FMS also. What DataLink system are You simulate on GATCS, please?. Thanks in advance JAVIER Spain Please login to display this image.
