A bit late to get the contest going, so this month I'll make easy in you can show any one of your great screenshots from a former simulation platform.

Users are allowed to change their posted image up until the time frame allowing you to do so expires.  If you fail to post an image based on the theme of the month, it is very likely that the image will not be considered during "judgment day".

This a multi-sim platform for your "FLIGHT" images as we welcome Prepar3D, MSFS 2020, X-Plane, DCS, Infinite Flight and even AeroFly images.

Good luck to all participants.

Nearly 7 years old, this picture. Taken in P3Dv2.4 (I think at least, that it was 2.4).

Since I won the last two SSCs, I would like to participate out of competition this time! Therefore, do not take this picture into account in the ranking!

Hey Simeon, GREAT THEME!
Phantastic idea, congratulations!   👍

And very impressive screenshots, Simeon!
Again a great pleasure to enjoy and admire them

Hard to believe that they are from "former" simulation platforms 😉

So I don't want to be unpolite, and I apologize, but in my eyes FSX is not a "former" flight simulator.
A lot of people are still using it 🙂 Me inclusive 🙂

I can't reach your talent, but may I give some links to my former screenshot threads, to show the other guys why I'm still loving FSX plus  photoreal sceneries?

(To be honest: I don't need glamorous reflections on the fuselage and I prefer to enjoy spectacular sunsets and sunrises and dramatical clouds in real life, not in the sim.
But I'm keen on crisp and detailed photoreal ground textures with an exact and therefore realistic height mesh to discover and enjoy fascinating landscapes 🙂)

So how did you manage without Photoshop to get reflection of your face on cockpit windshield in FSX??? You must be first person in history of flight simming to get reflection of his or her face on cockpit windshield in FSX.

Aharon

I'm surprised what grandiose images come out in this contest - very nice! ;)

My picture was taken a few days after the release of Xplane 11. As an FSX and P3D user, I never really got used to this simulator, which is why it disappeared from my PC quite quickly.

Hello Aharon,
very well combined! 🙂    But:

It's not a trick - it's FSX !

A nice little gimmick in this smart aircraft addon 🙂

Of course I'm looking a little bit different in real life. Due to the fact that I'm not wearing sunglasses while simming 😉 And due to the fact that I don't have a headset like this.

But with a small webcam it should theoretically be possible to replay my smiling face while enjoying the fascinating photoreal landscapes 🙂
I bet this will be a feature in FS2030.

With FSX you can enjoy it right now. If you don't mind looking a little bit like me while wearing headset and sunglasses 😉

Stay happy and keep flightsimming!

@TorstenFS

Ahhhh thanks for explanation. I am utterly amazed to learn it is possible to combine webcam results with FSX screenshot therefore effectively creating reflection of your face on FSX cockpit windowshield.

That is cleverest screenshot technique!!

Here is throwback to FSX years.   Presenting my FSX screenshot that modern MS2020, modern XP-11, and modern P3D will never never have in their flight sim platforms which is of course FSX naturally generated and FSX naturally default flooding that hit a Caribbean airport (MWCR airport)

THIS IS FOR MONTHlY JUNE SCREENSHOT CONTEST Notice how flooding reaches almost top of the fence. The screenshots were taken in year 2009

water1.jpg

THIS IS NOT NOT for MONTHlY JUNE SCREENSHOT CONTEST.  It is for all of you to see what the airport actually looks like after the flood receded

Aharon

So Edward, it's your turn now!

AS-contest without screenshot from @edetroit is like strawberry cake without whipped cream 🙂

And to be honest: I'm still missing @AA777-200ER , @Tokitaumelie , @CaptKornDog , @Apogee ,   . . . ,   . . . ,   . . .

Ok I'll have a look...... although I feel like I have won already. Aviator_86's awesome shot is one of my paints. 😁

Here is a shot from my upcoming video flight. Kyiv to Kabul in an An-225. This flight took place in real life on the 22nd of this month. As is the case for FS9 these days I had to make Kyiv Antonov-2 airport myself.

OK, Ed has arrived (actually departed) with his entry. Mine is a little smaller but it's a little twitchy when it comes to control.

This picture of this Lancair (Orbx) is about 9 years when I flew FSX. Good luck to all, Darryl
