Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted June 11, 2021 Aerosoft Share Posted June 11, 2021 A330 Changelog: 1.0.5.0 Full new build Bug Fix: Various small fixes in the checklists Bug Fix: Various small fixes with CPDLC and DCDU Bug Fix: Corrected the radial in line course Bug Fix: Heading line was visible on LOC capture during radial in direct Improvement: Added support for Thrustmaster TCA custom flaps and speedbrake lever mode (see below) Improvement: ALT defaults to managed now on the panel states A318-A321 Changelog: 1.4.3.0 Full new build Bug Fix: Various small fixes in the checklists Bug Fix: Corrected the radial in line course Bug Fix: Heading line was visible on LOC capture during radial in direct Bug Fix: At least one engine has to be started before GW indication is displayed on E/WD Improvement: Added support for Thrustmaster TCA custom flaps and speedbrake lever mode (see below) Improvement: ALT defaults to managed now on the panel states Thrustmaster TCA Quadrant Add-On support added: Support for separate SPOILER lever and FLAP lever axis of "THRUSTMASTER TCA Quadrant ADD-ON Airbus Edition" added. This new option can be setup via the configurator. If this THRUSTMASTER TCA QUADRANT ADDON SUPPORT is set active some special handling for the hardware switches/knobs/handles is provided: By using this support the GROUND SPOILER ARM function is mapped to the most forward position of SPOILER lever. To set speed brakes to zero without arming function pull the lever approx 10% back from the most forward position. Additionally those axis values can be fine tuned by editing values in [FLAP_LEVER] and [SPEED_BRAKE_LEVER] section of AB_ND_GDI.ini Gear lever and parking brake handle events are provided to allow UP/DOWN events (for gear) and SET/RELEASE events (parking brake) instead of just TOGGLE-events. This allows to synchronize simulator correctly when hardware switches are set. AUTO BRK rotary knob of TCA is mapped to the three auto brake switches in Airbus cockpit RUD TRIM knob (incl. RESET button) To correctly implement those switches/knobs/handles please assign following buttons in the "Key Assignments" menu of P3D: switch on game controller EVENT ASSIGNMENT REPEAT slider ON RELEASE ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- GEAR lever in UP position "Hotas generic key (A8)" BUTTON 21 full left - GEAR lever in DOWN position "Hotas generic key (A9)" BUTTON 21 - YES PARK BRK handle in SET position "Hotas generic key (B0)" BUTTON 20 full left - PARK BRK handle in RELEASE position "Hotas generic key (B1)" BUTTON 20 - YES AUTO BRK BTV "Hotas generic key (B2)" BUTTON 22 full left - AUTO BRK LO "Hotas generic key (B3)" BUTTON 23 full left - AUTO BRK 2 "Hotas generic key (B4)" BUTTON 24 full left - AUTO BKR HI "Hotas generic key (B5)" BUTTON 26 full left - RUD TRIM knob in left position "Hotas generic key (B6)" BUTTON 18 middle - RUD TRIM knob in right position "Hotas generic key (B7)" BUTTON 19 middle - RUD TRIM knob in center position "Hotas generic key (B8)" BUTTON 18 - YES RUD TRIM knob in center position "Hotas generic key (B8)" BUTTON 19 - YES RUD TRIM RESET button "Hotas generic key (B9)" BUTTON 17 full left - RUD TRIM RESET button "Hotas generic key (B9)" BUTTON 17 - YES Please login to display this image. To do so please follow following steps (as an example for GEAR lever switch): 1. Enter “hotas" into the search field on the top right of the key assignment menu 2. Click on “Hotas generic key (A8)”, then click “New” at the bottom of the window. The “New Assignment” window opens. 3. Move the GEAR lever on your controller into "UP" position, “Button 21” should show up in the text field. Then click OK. 4. Leave the “Repeat” slider on the left side 5. Now click on “Hotas generic key (A9)” and again click “New” at the bottom of the window. Again, the “New Assignment” window opens. 6. Move the GEAR lever on your controller into "DOWN" position, “Button 21” should show up in the text field. Then click OK. 7. Select “On Release”, then click OK. Assign all above mentioned switches in the same way... CUSTOM FLAP LEVER mode implemented: If "useCustomFlapLeverParameter" is set to "1" (useCustomFlapLeverParameter=1) in [FLAP_LEVER] section of AB_ND_GDI.ini some defining parameter are taken into account. These parameter are designed to hold RAW axis values between -16383 and 16383 and do allow to fine tune the different ranges according to your used hardware. Please be aware these parameter are also taken into account when the parameter THRUSTMASTER_TCA_QUADRANT_ADDON_SUPPORT" in ECAM_D2DLog.ini is set to true! In that case the hardware flap lever axis of TCA THROTTLE QUADRANT ADDON can be fine tuned... The according section in AB_ND_GDI.ini with all available parameters would look like this: ent ranges according to your used hardware. Please be aware these parameter are also taken into account when the parameter "THRUSTMASTER_TCA_QUADRANT_ADDON_SUPPORT" in ECAM_D2DLog.ini is set to true! In that case the hardware speed brake lever axis of TCA THROTTLE QUADRANT ADDON can be fine tuned (to allow arm function in most forward position)... At axis values below SpeedBrakeZero_Min the ARM function is activated, at axis values above SpeedBrakeZero_Max the speed brakes are extended linear in range 0..100%. The according section in AB_ND_GDI.ini with all available parameters would look like this: [SPEED_BRAKE_LEVER] useCustomSpeedBrakeLeverParameter=1 SpeedBrakeZero_Min=-16300 SpeedBrakeZero_Max=-12000 You can adapt those values at runtime of simulator as parameter of AB_ND_GDI.ini are frequently read (every couple of seconds).
