Hi,

I also have the same CTD issue with the CRJ downloaded from SimMarket. I can no longer use this plane at the moment.

Hope you find a solution quickly!

Thank you

Is there any error message shown? You do not fit the pattern of this topic as almost all other are about the marketplace version.

CTD for me as well.  All 3rd Party Liveries removed.  For me I am able to do my standard start up, but when flying around the pattern and shooting the ILS, I get a CTD on Final, or minutes in to the flight.

I just did a test flight at KDFW from gate 21. Cold and Dark start up to 35L. One lap and on to the ILS35L which did not capture, so manually flew it and suffered a CTD on Final approach, fully configured.

Purchased on MSFS Marketplace.

since the update was applied the aircraft is unusable.

I load into the flight and get as far as takeoff after programming a short flight on the FMS.  The sim then freezes.  no CTD just freezes.  Only option is to kill the sim in task manager.  on one occasion the framerate dropped to near zero and became unplayable.

This version is a direct download from Aerosoft and updated via the updater tool.

very frrustrating.

Hallo nochmal!

I was happy this morning when I saw that the CRJ 550/700 upload folder in the content manager was 2.83Gb instead of 2.63GB. I thought the problem was solved. Unfortunately, when the game is launched, there is always a CTD. It still does not work.

I have also encountered this issue. The second I updated the CRJ, the flight simulator would crash to desktop. I ran a 'verify files' test in Steam and flight simulator ran fine, I looked in my content manager and it had uninstalled both the Aerosoft CRJ and Aerosoft Padderborn. No others uninstalled, just those two. I ran a successful flight on the A320neo. After this I reinstalled the CRJ, and instantly the flight simulator crashed again.

I'm sorry that I don't have the time to read the full thread, but what I read in the last few posts reminds me of a kind of problem that we had before - although that problem has been fixed by Asobo for Sim Update 3.

First: Does this problem still occur with last nights CRJ update? (which should have been 1.0.5.0... however, the version number didn't make it to the marketplace...)

Second: If it still occurs, you could help by sending in a crash dump file. I attached two registry scripts CrashDumpEnable.reg and CrashDumpDisable.reg. Just double-click the first one (Enable) in Windows Explorer, reproduce the crash, and then double-click the second one (Disable). A crash dump file will be created in C:\MyDumps. If you're worried about running a .reg file or if you wish to redirect the output to another drive, you can open, check and edit both files with any text editor.

Once you have your crash dump file, please make sure to compress it. 7-zip (www.7-zip.org) is a nice tool to do that. A crash dump file can easily exceed 20 GB and compression can decrease the size to 3-4 GB. Once you've done that, please upload the archive file to a cloud service (Dropbox, Google, OneDrive, Strato HiDrive. I won't click anything thing ends with .ru or similar.) and send me a PM with a download link to the file. I will then forward it to Asobo for analysis.

One more note: Update 1.0.5.0 shows as 1.0.4.0 in the marketplace due to an issue with the manifest.json file. It still is version 1.0.5.0 (as you can see in aerosoft-crj\Data\Readme.txt). This also explains the size of 2.83 GB vs. 2.63 GB in version 1.0.4.0.

Problem is still exactly the same for me.  MSFS only runs with no CRJ folder.  I have tried validating Steam files and now MSFS is redownloading 80gb.  I will post a dump file once it has finished!

same CTD here. Updated MSFS and all fine. Updated also the CRJ (marketplace purchase) and flew the FBW neo just fine. Now wanted to load the CRJ and it CTD. Restarted MSFS and now the whole sim CTDed right before the main menu. Deleted the CRJ from official folder. restarted PC. loaded MSFS and all fine. Now downloading the CRJ again and will see. else I will post my log details, too

EDIT MSFS CTDed again

The CRJ update itself can't do much about it. I understand that this happens while the CRJ is loaded by MSFS, so before it actually runs. Anyway, I just sent the first crash dump to Asobo for checking and will hopefully get some feedback soon™.

Is there a proper way to "uninstall" the CRJ, before attempting to reinstall in MSFS store?  At the moment all I can do is delete the CRJ folder.  Is there anymore files that might need removing that are hidden away in other folders?

Content manager -> Search for "CRJ" -> Click "Remove"

I'm having problems too since updating to V1.0.5.0 this morning.

1. Launched the sim and was inserting things into the FMS, I pressed the EXEC button and the whole sim froze...….left it 5 mins and it remained froze so I had to close with the task manager. Couldn't press escape to leave.

2. Restarted the PC. launched the sim, same flight/route but this time I could enter data. However, 40 mins into the flight I was updating the planned descent, I changed an alt restriction on the leg page and when I pressed 'EXEC' it didn't freeze but instantly my frames dropped down to 2 or 3fps...…totally unflyable so I had to quit

3. Since updating to V 1.0.5.0 my rudder pedals aren't working properly.....they're hardly moving the rudder at all. The calibration is the same as it was...…I even reassigned it to a spare joystick to test it, calibrated it and it's the same problem so using the rudder is a no-go.
FYI the rudder pedals are working perfectly fine with the FBW and the default aircraft.....I don't fly those but I just launched a couple to test. They've only stopped working with the CRJ

12 hours ago on V1.0.4.0 there was no problem at all and I've flown the route I was doing EDDM - LDDU about a week ago and no issues

The above 3 points are only AFTER updating to V1.0.5.0 and these are the only problems I've faced since the CRJ was launched.

Any advice would be appreciated

Thanks,

Lee
