squashplayer 0
I know a throttle axis is required, but as I love flying by keyboard, I would like to know if there is a workaround? 1. Is it possible to set thrust by keyboard F2/F3 without the strange behaviour that F2 and F3 both increase thrust when > ~50% thrust? 2. Is it possible to set thrust by gamepad buttons (not axis!)? Thanks
squashplayer 0
P.S. I found one solution which works for me: - during Cruise, I adjust the thrust levers manually with my mouse - during Approach, I do one of the following: 1. adjust thrust levers with mouse (like in Cruise) 2. press F1 (=idle) and then press F3 3 or 4 times which sets thrust to about 40%, maybe 5 times. This gives me a good thrust for the final approach
jimsom 1
Use the throttle calibration button in the EFB and both keyboard and gamepad should work fine, at least they do for me! A and B button should be default for throttle.
