SODE GSX Question

Recommended Posts

Hi team,

I’m new with all gsx sode stuff.

I have GSX 2 expansion P3D v5.1. I don’t know if I’m understanding GSX And SODE. I’m confused.

my doubt is if I need to install SODE Madrid, Barcelona, Mallorca...jetways (In Madrid airport or Barcelona...) to work correctly with my gsx, so I can see passengers walking throw the airbridge.

Or there are independent things...I would appreciate some help with this.
Also Ive seen in Simmarket “CARTAYNA FILES GSX LEVEL 2 CONFIGURATIONS”

thanks

The sode files offered for our products

https://sode.aerosoft.com/

are each one set of custom jetways like they look IRL.

GSX2 offers generic sode jetways that can be placed for airports that don’t offer Sode jetways or as alternative to our files for example.

The cartanya files are config files to place optional gsx2 jetways, but primarily they place gsx1 configs for like IRL pushback operations.

GSX Passengers are only compatible with their gsx2 jetways.
Our own passengers are implemented by our devs in some airports.

So I have Madrid P3D v5.1.

If I install your SODE, it should work with GSX2, and I would be able to see pax boarding and de boarding from son air bridges like Terminal 4.

if I don’t install your sode, GSX2 won’t handle the air bridges?

Am i ok?

thanks

GSX and GSX2 are two different products!

GSX is pushback handling, groundservices and can also move all Sode jetways.

GSX2 offers generic Sode jetways for addons, that don’t have that. Only this ones will display passengers in the jetways.

For more questions regarding GSX I suggest the fsdreamteam forum,

as your question is not only madrid relevant, but covers all addons with custom Sode jetways.
