Deputy Sheriffs masterhawk 799 Posted April 25, 2021 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted April 25, 2021 Ok...no idea if I‘m correct. Bit I think I can remember, that there is a problem in combination with fs2crew and our checklist feature that results in a audio crash. @DaveCT2003I think you was assisting in that case. Maybe you can help.
DaveCT2003 2553
Bob's memory is better than mine! I don't use FS2Crew, but it's certainly a good thing to check. Here is what I would do. 1. Ensure you have the most up to date version of FS2Crew. 2. Check Direct X by typing "dxdiag " in the Windows search box (on the left side of the Task Bar) and check the Sound and Input Tabs to see if any problems are noted. 3. What other applications were running that inface with flight sim abd generate sounds? Examples: VATSIM, IVAO, POSCON, FS2Crew, Weather Engine, etc? 4. Are you able to recreate this issue each time you load up? IF so, you can use a process of elimination by not starting the software noted is #3 above to see if you can narrow this down a little bit. Let us know how you make out?
mattsimsA330 0
Updated FS2Crew No problems noted in dxdiag Not running any other applications Still crashing to desktop Any other suggestions ? Cheers, Matt
Deputy Sheriffs masterhawk 799 Posted April 28, 2021 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted April 28, 2021 Please test without FSCrew. Do another test with FSCrew and all checklist features from our A330 disabled. Be sure to have the latest audio drivers. Maybe you can check your system files: run command as admin and execute “sfc /scannow”
