LesOReilly 314 Posted April 9, 2021 Share Posted April 9, 2021 Long Title kind of explains it. Most of the basics are all working with the Standard Events... However the Nav Frequencies are not able to be controlled externally and represented in the Sim UI. I have created a workaround that will allow the External Radio Controllers to work. What they display on them is the accurate Sim Data "Under the hood" but won't be represented in the RTU... The VOR1 is tracking it and you will see this in the first few minutes of the video. Additions include controlling the Audio Panel, Transponder panel and RTU selection along with controlling the MSFS Transponder status for those that need it to be set as well ... ie vatsim.. also made it easy to move between Standard and 8.33 Radio Spacing modes and shift the displays to make it easy to see... Many LVARs are used here looking forward to maybe getting some LVARS for the RTU Nav Standby Frequency so that we can revert back to a simpler Nav Radio implementation that will ensure the the RTU display is able to update...
