Herman g. Gerhardt 1
What is making the throttle setting match the crz n1 setting when I am in manual mode is that part of the faded system? Not complaining it very helpful but I want to understand how it works and what controls that “crz” power setting?
JRBarrett 675
When you are using the CLB detent, the FADEC automatically sets the maximum possible N1 speed available for the current altitude and air temperature without exceeding N1 or exhaust gas temperature limits. It will give you the most power possible for the current conditions. When you pull the power levers back into MAN mode, you (the pilot) are manually setting engine power. In cruise, you need to find an N1 setting that will allow you to maintain your desired airspeed. Manual mode power settings are well below the maximum limits where the FADEC has to take over to manage power.
Developer Hans Hartmann 3694 Posted April 5, 2021 Developer Share Posted April 5, 2021 Do you mean the N1 synchronization? That's this knob: Please login to display this image.
Herman g. Gerhardt 1
It’s not the sync the engines seem to want to go back the the green n1 numbers when in crz with small pull back movement.

Hans found what was causing this problem, and the new throttle axis handing is absolutely rock solid. Now, when you set a specific N1, it stays set.
