Patrick Paris 75 0
Hello Qince the last CRJ update, the left engine doesn't start. Before update everything was working very well. I reseted the CRJ file in FS2020, started and closed the sim; downloadede fresh zip from aerosoft site... nothing helps. here is a picture Please login to display this image. curben 18
Any mixture bindings on your controller? That’s been an issue on other aircrafts in the sim.

aprodigy 6
had the same problem once yesterday. i then tried to reset the plane to "ready for taxi" and got this result then: Please login to display this image. apart from the fadec faults i've not seen before yet, i tried to shut both engines down. the right one still behaved as expected but the left one was fully unresponsive and just stayed running. i restarted the game then. Patrick Paris 75 0
Again there are more bugs with the engine start : 1. When starting the sim on ramp : the CRJ loads with engines running. 2. when switching to Cold and Dark status >> engines shut down but N2 remain at 25 and N1 at 17. therefore the manual startup is not possible The only way I found to start the engines is CTRL +E very annoying All these issues were not present with the native version. Hope aerosoft will take this issue in mind and process to some correcting patch. It seems thbey had exazctly the sazme issue with previous versions with P3D/FSX CRJ
Patrick Paris 75 0
SOLVED --- ++++If you are using the Honeycomb alpha yoke ++++ >> YOU MUST TURN OFF THE STARTER at the left side of the yoke ... this was the cause of all the bugs ---- then the engines will start manually wthout issue. :_))
Dave March 24
Excellent. Well spotted. My starter was set to 'Both'. I will try with it OFF and see if that solves it for me. Thank you
dcthus 0
I had the same problem. A close look at the settings of the bravo throttle qudrant showed a binding of "joystick button" 28 and 33 with "decrease mixture 1" asnd "decrease mixture 2" respectively. After deleting both bindings, everything worked fine.
