GoFlight Interface Tool FS2020 issues so far

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Just as an FYI concerning the GoFlight rotary knob panel RP48R module and its issue so far.

There are 4 rotary knobs on that panel that I always use for the AP (HDG, ALT, CRS and SPEED bugs).

The issues are as follow once properly map using the Interface tool provided by GoFlight:

  • AP HDG bug
  1. The Bug is moving fine BUT:
  2. No sound
  3. No doted magenta line on either display
  4. No magenta Numerical display on the left display

  •   AP CRS Bug
  1. Works great
  2. Just no sound

  • AP SPEED Bug
  1. Works great
  2. Just no sound

  • AP ALT Bug
  1. No response, does not work at all

CRJ Installed version: 1.0.0.1

Everything works fine when using the mouse

The LGT Module for landing gears, flaps and trims works great

The T8 Module for switches has not been tested yet.

Hope this help for further dev and updates

As mentioned in various other topics in this forum, you need 3rd party tools sending some of these knobs/keys to so called LVARs, as some of the functions, e.g. the FCU altitude are modeled using Aerosofts own implementation and therefore do not react on the default MSFS bindings.

Sure - the most straight forward solutions are Lorbys AxisAndOhs or spad.next. I have used them both with success, as have others. Check out the other posts in this forum about mapping buttons and rotary encoders

As HighFlyer says, lots of posts concern external interfacing utilities.

Just browse the forum, you will certainly find lots of useful information.
