fakeflyer737 24
So company filed me at .78 for cruise. I went into the VNAV Pg and edited it to 320/.78 and hit Execute When I get up to my Perf Int Cruise Alt with the AP on should the plane automatically bug .78 on the PFD? I'm assuming that it does but it isn't in the sim, is this a bug? Regards. PS: Im using the latest version.
CRJay 428
No, the plane does not set the speed bug to what is set in the FMS, that is all up to the pilot.

JRBarrett 675
Previously the plane did automatically change the speed bug reference based on the FMS climb performance setting, but that was actually an “implementation bug” based on an incorrect understanding. The official aircraft manuals are lacking any information about this. The real CRJ will only auto-change the speed bug reference from IAS to Mach at one altitude: 31,600 feet. At any other altitude the pilot must do the change manually by pressing the center of the speed knob when current IAS = desired Mach. This correct behavior has been implemented in version 1.0.0.
