Tutorial doc says "we'll leave it off for this flight" or something like that. None of the other documents even really talk about it other than mentioning that it's there. If it’s anything like the Boeing’s, it will power stuff like cargo doors, cabin lights, etc. Basically, just to allow the ground crews to clean/service the aircraft before the flight crew arrives.
