X-Plane Crashed after Purchasing and Installing the ShadeX DLC from STEAM

Hi, 

 

My X-Plane 11.52 crashed to desktop after purchasing and installing ShadeX on Steam.

 

I have disabled all plugins except ShadeX. 

 

Here is the error log:

I have refunded it on Steam. Hope this issue gets fixed soon and I will consider to purchase again.

you are on Windows. Please be sure to have the C++ libraries from Microsoft installed.

Heinz, 

same issue like many others from what i hear:

Crash to Desktop.

Shaders seem to be a very sensitive subject in x-plane's stability.

 

In my case installation and adding some effects works nice. 

Only when chosing the 2nd tab from left, which handles autofocus, the sim crashes immediately.

So my current benefit is the saturation, temperature stuff, but not the cool autofocus, which was the

actual reason why i purchased

 

i will keep the product, but i hope you find a way to fix these issues.

Let me know that a whole army of programmers is picking these issues and fixes it within days :))

 

I don't think anything is set up wrong on my system. Unless you have a brilliant idea of what overally could be the source and 

what resolves it for everybody.
