Every year we do one project that shows what we feel is possible in modeling, see the Seahawk, Manhattan etc, all of these were sold for what we believe are very acceptable prices. Not only for you as customer, but we are loosing sales there because of it. When we opened the download shop 1 euro was 1 dollar. Wish those days would come back. GabethePilot 1 Posted April 4, 2008 Share Posted April 4, 2008 Are the CRT gauges going to be the same as the Seahawk ones: as flickery as hell....lines wobbling around all over the shop ? They could do with some serious Antialiasing....8-) When I fly the Seahawk - which isn't often as 15 fps really annoys me - the shaking gauges and ghosting panel graphics make me really seasick - and that's before I take-off.... I'm showing my age here, but I can remember while I was stationed at Sembach AFB the rate was about 3.75 DM to 1USD....Ah..but those days are long gone. No the moment it is boxed it can be ordered worldwide, just as the download version. We normally don't have 'European' version of any kind. 3. of course there will be a high detailed pilot in it, but no working weapons. GR27 0 Posted April 9, 2008 Share Posted April 9, 2008 It looks great, will the F-16 have a high-g vapor effects like some Alphasim jets have (not only from the wing top but from the connection points of the wings with the fuselage also)? And it will look good if there will be an option to have hands and legs of the pilot in the virtual cockpit on the stick and throttle and on the pedals, it will add a lot to the realism feel in the VC.Can't wait for this plane to "land" in my PC. Will it be able to i.e roll quickly around and make a sharp, stable stop afterwards? Guest M31 Posted April 17, 2008 Share Posted April 17, 2008 Looks incredible, do Aerosoft plan to release a mission or two with this or even a mission pack like they did with the twin otter, I realise its about flying with this one and weapons cant be used, but perhaps some missions could be made along the lines of finding and escorting intruding aircraft out of restricted airspace, air to air refueling (apparently the Acceleration F-18 has this as an unfinished undocumented feature, you cant see the hose though) perhaps some Thunderbird display training missions? There ARE multiple projects on the table right now, so hold tight. Lots of loose ends to tidy up and a number of things yet to install, then it should roll out shortly after that.
