Airport missing in FMC

Recommended Posts

Good day,

I wanted to start my flight from Rio de Janeiro airport Santos-Dumont SBRJ. The airport wasn't found in the FMC. Is there a way to upload this airport? Maybe there are more airports missing?

Or the airport is simply not in the database. If the customers of the LIDO data do not need it, it simply might not be there. For SBRJ that would surprise me however.

IT´s in the airport.txt

This can be if the runways is not long enough for take off. Depend of aircraft weight this can be for a CRJ 5500ft.

Well.... the 737 and A320 are frequent guests there :D (in real live)

I changed the rwy lenght from 4300 to 5000 on the AIRAC and it worked.

How can I change that? In the airport.txt?

Hi piol87,

Change this value below to something like 5000. It´s just a workaround.

A,SBRJ,RIO DE JANEIRO/SANTO,-22.91000,-43.16250,10,7000,0,4300,0

The file is located at \aerosoft-crj\Data\NavData
