WaitingForGuacamole 2
When attempting to set the cruise altitude on the FMS, no matter how I enter a cruise altitude (42000 or FL420, for example), I always get the error "INVALID ENTRY".
Developer Hans Hartmann 3694 Posted March 16, 2021 Developer Share Posted March 16, 2021 It's not a Boeing or Airbus. Try F420
WaitingForGuacamole 2
Thank you. I'll try that.
WaitingForGuacamole 2
See the attached entering "F420" as recommended, and then attempting to set "CRZ ALT". Please login to display this image.
Razalom 10
Well not gone that high (maybe that is the issue?) but the 24000 IÂ entered worked fine. Â Found this online -Â Maximum Operating Altitude? - 41,000 feet
WaitingForGuacamole 2
Fair enough, but then that's a different issue, as that's the altitude that was indicated on the Nav Log tab on the flight planning page in MSFS.
Developer Hans Hartmann 3694 Posted March 17, 2021 Developer Share Posted March 17, 2021 It can fly FL430 if it's very light. The maximum altitude entry in the FMS is 41000 according to the FMS manual.
jodle 5
Question: CRJ can't reach cruising altitude. Set FL380 climbing on 345 and stop. Trying V/S - 100-400 fpm aircraft is slowing down and descending. It depends of wind? Please login to display this image.

The maximum altitude entry in the FMS is 41000 according to the FMS manual. Â If I fly a TBM930 on High altitude IFR, MSFS assigns altitude up to 31,000. If I fly a Citation Longitude, it assigns altitude between 42-44,000. If I fly an A320, MSFS never assigns altitude over 39,000 feet. What I'm saying here is that if MSFS observes maximum altitudes for those aircraft, it should for yours as well.
