Should your simulator crash while using the CRJ (or while loading it); there are a few things you should try:

  1. See if flying the same route with one of the default aircraft results in the same issues.
  2. Temporarily remove all the DLC from the Packages folder except the CRJ package.
  3. Reset the CRJ following these guide: https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/160373-resetting-the-aircraft/.
  4. Try the possible solutions offered here, step by stephttps://flightsimulator.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360015893879-How-to-troubleshoot-crashes-CTDs-during-gameplay.
  5. Check the windows events log if there is any specific issue mentioning MSFS logged.

Please note the following:

This DLC runs totally inside the ‘sandbox’ that MSFS creates for more complex add-ons. It does not use services like the C++ Redistributables as was the case in FSX and P3D. In fact, it is unable to access any system function. That means that any problem you encounter specifically with this DLC almost certainly indicates an issue inside the simulator. Of course, we strongly advise you to update graphics drivers and to keep your Windows fully up to date, but if you have an issue with just this DLC it is highly unlikely that the issue is with system files.

This is a problem for support as MSFS does not create any log files that we can use to find out what might be causing the issue. Apart from the steps mentioned above, there is very little we can offer as advice. See it this way, if there was an coding error causing the issue, it would by definition fail on every system.
