DavidGG&air 2 Posted February 28, 2021 Share Posted February 28, 2021 I updated the A-320 professional to version 1.4.2.0 using the Aerosoft Update. After this, the views inside the cabin go very slow and the automatic views are activated when the aircraft engines are started. Views of the parking brake and the engine master and engine selector. I deactivate these options in the specific MCDU (capital keys +4) in the views section and it does not solve it. All slow. Very slow moving cabin interior views. In my opinion, I have always thought that Aerosoft updater or other updaters that Aerosoft has used over the years are of no use. With the previous version I did not have these problems and the plane worked correctly. Something went wrong during the update using the famous unhelpful application. It is always better to download the entire file and install it again. Has anyone had problems with this latest update? I use prepar3d v5 hotfix 1. DavidGG&air 2 Posted March 6, 2021 Author Share Posted March 6, 2021 New information about the problem Unhappy with the problem and speed of movement inside the cockpit, i uninstalled the software step by step following a PDF found in the forum. Once installed correctly and following the correct update step by step using Aerosoft Updater because there is no complete installer for version 1.4.2.0 and you must necessarily update for this application, the problem persists. I go to the MCDU MENU (MCDU Settings) pop up and follow these steps: - Options - Views - View System (here I set view System to OFF) I go back to the main menu and follow the following steps: - Options - Checklist - View Focus (here I set this to OFF since after the update by default it sets it to ON. Automatic views are avoided during engine start-up) Once all this is done, the problem of very slow movement of views inside the cabin is solved. The slow movement inside the cabin has nothing to do with the number of frames, since they do not decrease. No problems with frames only problems with speed movement the views. Now my question for the forum especialists is to ask what can happen? Is my computer? Is a little bug the last update? With the previous version and having activated the previous configurations, the interior movement of views was correct. DavidGG&air 2 Posted March 6, 2021 Author Share Posted March 6, 2021 Hi mopperle, No. I use the Trustmaster TCA Airbus edition joystick. In the configurator menu of the software i have activated. There is an option for it. I also tried it when I did the clean install. Previously I also had it configured like this. To move views I use the hat swicht of the joystick. All the installation steps are done correctly but in this version this problem happens to me. In the previous version you could have activated the toolbar of views included. With the last update the viewfocus was introduced to the smaller airbus. Therefor new camera views have been implemented. Now the question... Is the regular VC view also slow or is it one of the new camera views for viewfocus? The panspeed is something that can be adjusted in the camera definitions. DavidGG&air 2 Posted March 6, 2021 Author Share Posted March 6, 2021 Hi masterhawk, No. The inside cockpit view is set to VC and this is where the rotatory (head movement) movement is slow. The views of the Panel Bar go fast, but if I have them on the screen (they can be configured in vertical or horizontal mode) it is when the interior view VC is slow. The View Focus is now fixed and it is not the problem caused by the slowness. In the previous version and without having to disable the images on Panel Bar screen, the speed inside the cockpit in VC mode was fast. It is now with this update that i have to disable them (view panel bar on screen) so that the movement inside the cabin fast. This is the problem. Now, if I don't have the Panel Bar on screen, the movement is perfect, but if the Bars appears on the screen, the movement inside the cabin VC is very slow. I have to deactivate the View System so that the speed inside the cabin in VC is fast. In the previous version this did not happen and I could have it activated using views (pedestal, overhead, first officer seat, etc) Regards Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
